Does AidKit SOS replace calling emergency services?
No. AidKit SOS is an educational reference that helps you follow first-aid protocols while waiting for help. In any emergency, always call your local emergency number first (112 in the EU, 911 in North America, 119 in Japan, etc.).
Does the app work offline?
Yes. All protocols, the CPR metronome, and the AED map (after first load) work without an internet connection. The app is designed for remote or poor-signal areas.
Which protocols are included?
The app covers 20+ emergency scenarios based on the European Resuscitation Council (ERC) 2025 guidelines, including: adult and paediatric CPR, choking, burns, bleeding, fractures, poisoning, allergic reactions, stroke, seizures, shock, and more.
Does the AED map work worldwide?
Coverage depends on the OpenAEDMap and Apple Maps data available in your country. When online, nearby defibrillators are loaded and cached for offline use. In sparse areas, the map may show fewer results.
Is my data private?
Yes. We don't require an account and don't collect personal data. Your Medical ID stays on your device (optionally synced via your iCloud). See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I enable iCloud sync?
Open Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud on your device and make sure AidKit SOS is toggled on. Inside the app, go to Settings → iCloud and enable sync. Your Medical ID and preferences will then sync across your Apple devices.
The CPR metronome haptics feel weak or not working.
Haptic feedback requires an iPhone with Taptic Engine (iPhone 7 or later) and the system's Haptic setting enabled (Settings → Sounds & Haptics → System Haptics). AidKit SOS also plays an audible beep as a fallback.
Which languages are supported?
AidKit SOS ships in 21 languages: English, Spanish (ES/MX), Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (PT/BR), Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, Polish, Russian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Simplified), Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Malay. Emergency numbers adapt automatically based on your country.
Can I use AidKit SOS on my iPad or Apple Watch?
Yes on iPad. An Apple Watch companion is planned for a future release — subscribe to our mailing list for updates.
How do I report a bug or request a feature?
Email us at dev@trisimio.es with a screenshot or reproduction steps. We read every message.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app — all on-device data is removed. For iCloud data, open Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → AidKit SOS → Delete.
